Everytime I get an email saying someone has posted on this thread I get my hopes up. Silly boy. I guess they can’t publicly say they have cancelled all intention of delivering on the HomeKit promise. But it sure would be nice for it to be settled.Spread the love!
Just to make sure it’s understood there are many people watching this forum and hoping for the day that our Bhyve systems get Homekit.Spread the love!
Well, it’s time to put the sprinklers to bed for me anyway so it isn’t a huge deal. I still like the app.
I sort of appreciate that someone is keeping this thread alive, although I’m not sure “yelling” at Orbit is going to make this go any faster. Hopefully, the HomeKit is going to be ready by spring. If not, I don’t have to walk to the garage to push a button, I can still pull the phone out of my pocket.
And even though Google and Alexa work, there are still some of us die hard folks who won’t be buying that stuff anytime soon.Spread the love!
I’m probably delusional, but I’m still holding out hope. Come on local company, don’t let me down.Spread the love!
Last comment from me for now?
Seems odd that no one from Orbit is monitoring this forum or thread. Or maybe they are and know there is nothing to say. Even when Rachio had this thread going forever, a moderator would occasionally jump on and say something about why HomeKit wasn’t available yet. Even if it was just to blame Apple.Spread the love!
I think Smith288 was being sarcastic, as in “don’t expect anything more than this line” as a response.
In part, I opted for the B-hyve over Rachio because of the “promised” HomeKit. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the device and app, but come on Orbit, what gives? Can I please have the promised product and functionality?Spread the love!
