With all due respect to Orbit staff, if I don’t see something besides “we’re still working on it” around HomeKit within the next month, I will migrate to a competitor that does support HomeKit, as my entire ecosystem revolves around it. Some ask why it’s so important or why we care. It’s about control, of our homes and having our IoT devices work [better] together. So far, you’ve have promised it, but have not delivered, 2 years later. And please have Home Depot remove all those deceiving signs from above your products with the HomeKit logo. Such potential, but you missed the boat, and I’m extremely disappointed… You have a quality product, but aren’t delivering on promises you gave customers. 🙁Spread the love!
I will agree with previous comments in that I am:
* Disappointed for the lack of HomeKit support in 2 years
* Frustrated this thread has moved to “Customer Suggestions” out of the blue
* Frustrated that Home Depot still has a banner above these timers with the “Works with HomeKit” logo
* Having to resort to using a Homebridge plugin to achieve what I expected from a manufacturer using native HomeKit.
I expected this lack of support of HomeKit from my [outgoing] Nest (Google) and Ring (Amazon) products, but not this. I, like others here, have been very patient. But you’re brand is in the tank if you can’t at least respond with some update, EVEN if it’s that HomeKit support isn’t happening… If that’s the case, have stores remove those deceiving banners. While I am extremely frustrated, the Homebridge solution works for me. That said Orbit, it won’t for others…Spread the love!
Please throw me an upgrade. 🙂

@MMEINKE, I believe 0023 is the latest for the WT25G2.
@OrbitStaff, if I am wrong, upgrade me as well please (44:67:55:03:22:c9).
As a side note, it would be cool to see release notes when new releases are ready for the public. In the end I’d love to get that and the ability to update in the app, but one step at a time. 🙂Spread the love!
+1 Same issue here.Spread the love!
@Ian, no offense, but we got it. If you’re getting notifications, block the email address. I too have a very strong passphrase and am using enterprise-grade network equipment with multiple wireless APs mounted in my home, yet I have zero issues and love this timer. It sucks you had issues, but there’s no need to come here and talk about competitor x. No one cares. You had issues, returned the unit, got your money back, so be happy and go post “over there”.
@Ryan, thanks for updating my firmware.Spread the love!
Can I please get the latest pushed to mine as well please?
