Yeah, calling BS on the addition of Homekit. Everything is up to date and there is nothing mentioning Homekit in the app nor on the website.

    @sportman1280

All of the product specific pages in the document are the same, they don’t list it. But they do list it on the main page (page 10) which is an outright lie. None of their products support it, contrary to their CES 2018 claim.

Also, the “coming soon” language is BS, it said that last year in the 2019 documentation, as well as over 2 years ago when this thread started.

    Orbit,

Again, you have posted new marketing material, this time for 2020:

    https://bhyve.orbitonline.com/site/uploads/2020/02/B-hyve-Media-Kit-2020_Print_HighRes_Single-Pages.pdf

On page 10 you clearly state “Works with Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit and Google Home”

    STOP LYING

    Where is our Homekit support?

@stephen Hey, what gives? Why was the Homekit discussion moved over here to “customer suggestions”?

Homekit is not a “customer suggestion”. It is an announced feature by Orbit 2 YEARS AGO at CES 2018.

    We deserve an update.

Lol, rob. Your argument is completely invalid. Regardless of the necessity or or meniality of this, the point is the product doesn’t do what it says it does.

Companies with far fewer resources than orbit provide plenty of updates to their customers, it’s not an unreasonable request to have some updates.

They’ve been happy to respond here before.

Are you blind? Regardless of the page you are referring to their published documentation contains a false claim, which is fraud.

If Orbit doesn’t have the integrity to respond to us, or at least remove their false claims, and have to hide behind their white knight robmehrer, then I will be happy to sue

Another swing and a miss for robmehrer.

Read it again. It doesn’t say “Almost ready to work with homekit”

It doesn’t say “Is broadcasting the tech needed for homekit”

It doesn’t say “Has everything to work with homekit”

It says “WORKS WITH HOMEKIT” – a lie

You’re an idiot. Look right here on their website https://bhyve.orbitonline.com/site/uploads/2019/01/Bhyve-Media-Kit.pdf (page 8 and 10) It doesn’t say “Homekit compatible”. It says “WORKS WITH HOMEKIT”. It is advertising fraud.

Again, you still don’t get it. I don’t care what this thing cost me, IT DOESN’T DO WHAT THE BOX AND THE ADVERTISING SAYS THAT IT DOES. THEY LIED AND ARE STILL LYING.

@robmehrer I couldn’t care less what you have to say, you really don’t get this. Based on every one of your responses, you are an Orbit fanboy who can see no wrong in anything they do and can’t admit that they f’ed up big time and lied to us all. STOP DEFENDING THEM.

You don’t have to accuse them, I’ll do it for you

ORBIT ARE A COMPANY OF LIARS WHO USED FALSE CLAIMS AND ADVERTISING (which they are STILL using, btw) TO TRICK US INTO BUYING THEIR PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED.
