In case you din’t know hose threads , either a FHT or a MHT are different from regular pipe thread which is FIP or MIP …female or male international pipe thread. Notice the HT or IP after F or M . IP can also be in 1/2″ or 3/4″ thread sizing. A female hose thread (FHT) uses a rubber washer where FIP uses teflon tape.Spread the love!
I just re-read your question. Guess you want to use it in Spain.Spread the love!
Are you talking about a b-hyve hose faucet timer with standard US FHT ( female hose thread) on one and a US MHT (male hose thread ) on the other end of the timer or are you talking about one that you bought IN Spain and won’t fit a standard hose bib here in the US ? I didn’t think they made different hose threads on the timer to be used in different countries. Maybe you’re talking about a whole different time other than the hose faucet timer. Guess I’m confused ????Spread the love!
What do you mean “backwards” ? Install your timer onto the outdoor faucet and turn it on, either manually by pressing the button on the timer itself for 5 seconds or turning it on thru your phone app using the traditional timer method. See if you get water to come out of the timer without the hose attached. Since you say you have a hose reel attached after the timer, then maybe your hose is kinked in the reel.
