Stephen, how do I contact support? We a momentary power outage last night and the unit did the same thing. The entire screen was blank but the outlet had power fine. When I unplugged the unit, the “NO AC” text came up. When I plugged the unit back in it powered up fully and reconnected.

The issue of re-start after a power outage and timeout on Wifi coming back alive is still there. On most power outages, the controller reboots faster than the Wifi router, searches for the network, and gives up before the Wifi is back alive. The controller never scans for Wifi network connectivity afterwards, and stays in “no network” mode thereafter. Only a power cycling gets it out of network coma. A longer timeout delay on power-up or a cyclic network check every 10 or 20 or whatever minutes would solve the issue. I’m not clear what is gained by having a short timeout delay.

Weird – My modem and router are on a UPS so they never lose connectivity during power blips; only the b-hyve. But I still have the issues mentioned above (having to power cycle to get it to reconnect).

How would a power blip be different from a power cord disconnect/reconnect, however? I’ve never had an issue with the controller not finding the Wifi network on a power-up, except when there’s a full power cutoff.

The original firmware was 23 and the wifi was disconnected every week, last year in July. Y’all had a new version in August 2018 and that fixed it. I don’t know what version that was. Do you?

It had not disconnected in almost 8 months.

Now it is again disconnecting every 10 days or so. 2 times in the last 2-3 weeks, or so. It now has version 39 firmware in it. Did you push this or is this the one from last August? If it’s not the one loaded from last year, then can you downgrade back?

    Thanks,
    Dave
