ParticipantHello, we just had some server work done over the weekend and so there were a few issues as a result of that. I’ve updated your firmware, so that should resolve any connection issues. if not please preform a factory reset on you timers and update the Wi-Fi settings. You may also need to power cycle your router and timer too. Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

ParticipantI am having the same problem. Wifi disconnects from network and only a reset by unplugging unit from AC power will restore it. Can you please check the firmware version and update if it is old.
MAC Address: 44:67:55:03:14:63
Firmware Version: 0023
Hardware Version: WT25G2-0001
Wi-Fi Version: 0Spread the love!July 25, 2018 at 10:36 pm #5182Ryan
ParticipantHello [email protected], Your timers firmware is already up to date. try editing your DNS settings on your router to 8.8.8.8 with 8.8.4.4 as a back-up. You could also try factory resetting your timer, and unplugging your ribbon able for 5 seconds. There is not much else I can do from here outside of firmware updates, so if you continue to have problems please contact our product support line.

Participant@Ryan –
1) I just installed mine and it disconnected and I had to unplug/replug the unit. Is the only way we can update firmware is to reach out to you? If so my MAC Address is 44:67:55:40:52:36 / Firmware DEBUG-0013
2) When will we be able to use a hidden WIFI SSID? For now we have to broadcast our WIFI SSID?

ParticipantLast Connected: Jul 27, 2018, 4:00:24 PM
Stations: 6 (6 set up)
MAC Address: 44:67:55:02:99:5d
Firmware Version: 0023
Hardware Version: WT25G2-0001
Wi-Fi Version: 0Every 7 days (or so) it looses WiFi connection to the router. About a day (?) later we get an email from Orbit saying so. Currently it’s been off-line for almost 48 hours.
The router is fine, Alexa and other Smart Home devices stay connected.
Since we are not there or when someone is there, it’s easier for them to power cycle the router (or have Spectrum do an on-line reset) than to power cycle the b-hyve.
Then the b-hyve is connected for another 7ish days. This scenario has happened 4 times in a row now. It was installed just over 5 weeks ago.
As nothing else in the house looses connection, the signal strength on the b-hyve shows 3of4 (3of5?) bars, we can only conclude it’s a b-hyve problem.
