Choosing a weather station that retains previous days’ rainfall amounts is vital for smart watering to work correctly. They don’t all do this from what I’ve gathered. I’ve tried switching between multiple stations, both PWS and “official” near my location and when I view the zone report on techsupport.orbitbhyve.com, there is no rainfall data for the previous day for which it did in fact rain. After switching to the state airport 10 mi north of me where it also rained, I then see data on the report and my smart watering schedule adjusts. Am I missing something? I’ve been using weatherunderground to determine stations that show historical rainfall. Is there another way?

ou812, The weather data for bhyve timers is received by Aeris. The local weather stations are available are all registered through pwsweather.com, and will have varying reports just depending on what type of sensor is being used to gather data.
