My bhyve 8 station indoor timer has worked with no problems until today. The timer was on rain delay today and did not run the smart water program at 4:00 AM as it shouldn’t have. However, for some unknown reason at 10:00 AM it started to run the program through one cycle. While it was running the bhyve app and online did not show the program was running. About 15 minutes before the last zone finished the online site started to show the program running the last zone, but it did not show up on the app. After it finished the app history page showed that the last two zones ran today. The first three zones showed the last day they ran, but not the activity today. Why would this happen? Was there a problem on the orbit system that may have caused the program to run with no communication with the app or onlinne site?Spread the love!August 10, 2018 at 5:13 pm #5859RyanParticipant
Hello Jogranger, Thank you for your feedback! Could we please have your timers mac address to take a further look into your timer? Thank you!Spread the love!August 10, 2018 at 7:03 pm #5868JograngerParticipant

i setup my 12 zone bhyve ABCD model to water at 9pm MST and 4:30am MST 7 days per week. it worked well for 3 months. oddly, roughly 3 weeks ago, it started water at 5pm and 12:30am each day (as evidenced by both me sticking my head out the window and observing the watering, as well as the IOS notification once the watering is complete).
i verified the setup, watering times, the selected zones, firmware/hardware version … if i’m online or on my app, my programs say it’ll water at 9pm and 12:30am each day. this is NOT happening at the times i selected.

I updated your timer’s firmware, let’s see if that helps.
Also, I noticed that your programs are both enabled and are set for 4:30a.m. and 9:00p.m. and there are six hours remaining of a manual rain delay.
Let us know if you have any more problems.

I have this same problem! Just discovered the sprinklers running again a few minutes ago (also happened a week or so ago). The B-Hyve app does not show a program running. That app appears to have no idea the sprinklers are running. My sprinklers are supposed to run early in the morning. Both times I’ve noticed this, it was in the evening. (No telling how many times this has happened that I did NOT notice.)
I agree – Rain Delay may have something to do with the problem. Both times I’ve seen it – I was on rain delay.
Should I return this unit back to where I bought it?
ThanksSpread the love!
