ParticipantNew indoor b-hyve timer MAC address: 44:67:55:40:61:1f. Installed 5/2. It was rainy for the first two days (0.06 inches total), and the rain delay kicked in at first.
I have smart watering enabled. It schedules smart watering. But it never actually does any watering it simply reschedules it for the next day.
Example smart watering scheduled for 5/5 8:00 PM. The sprinklers never activated. When I looked at the schedule a few minutes after 8:00 PM it was now set for 5/6 8:00 PM.
I had a Orbit rain sensor connected. So I disconnected that and reinserted the jumper wire the morning of 5/7 There was a watering scheduled for 5/7 at 8:00 PM. Again nothing happened and it rescheduled it for 5/8 at 8:00 PM. I did a manual watering since its been a dry winter and spring. Is this normal?
Other minor issue was it would never pair with my Motorolla G2 phone. But I used a Samsung tablet and it did pair with it so I was able to set it up.

Keymaster@andersonas25 that is not normal behavior of the timer. I’ve updated the firmware of your timer and that should resolve it. Please let me know if you continue to have these issues.

Participant@STEPHEN thanks for updating the firmware. The Android app also updated this morning. It does appear to schedule watering less often. The next sheduled watering is this Saturday.

ParticipantThe firmware update did fix the issue with smart watering never actually doing any watering. The device detail currently shows version 0018.
Thanks

ParticipantI have an indoor b-hyve and think it needs a firmware update. I don’t see any smart watering scheduled.
Also, I can’t select my weather station for adjustments. When I select current weather station, my hyve is shown on the map but not my weather station.
MAC 44:67:55:40:3a:9a
thanks!

ParticipantHell dana you have smart watering restrictions enabled so that it is not watering on any day. I’ve turned them off so it will water. the red circles with the X’s in them mean no smart watering will happen on those days.

ParticipantI thought I had restrictions disabled in the app, but I see now that the firmware is updated and smart events show on the calendar.
I have a pws on wunderground but it does not show as one to select. Should it?

Participantsorry, poorly phrased. In the app what personal weather stations can be selected for weather adjustments? I see stations near me but my station does not show up.

ParticipantHello dana, if you have include personal weather stations at the bottom of the screen enabled, and your weather station is still not visible then you could backing out and reopening it to see if it loads. If not then you will have to select another station.

Participanthi Ryan,
Is there more information on the b hyve aside from the online help? I haven’t found a manual.
What service do personal weather stations need to be registered with for use with the b-hyve?
thanks!

ParticipantHi
The issue mentioned in the original post may be back, ( MAC address: 44:67:55:40:61:1f ). It did work for a few smart watering sessions after the firmware update. Then we had a few rainy days and a rain delay was activated, and the next smart schedule was last night 5/22/18 at 8:00 PM. The watering did not occur it simply rescheduled it for today (5/23/18). So are there any issues with smart watering activation after a rain delay expires?
In case it matters I did have to power cycle it once last weekend. It disconnected from WIFI and would not reconnect on its own with out a power cycle.
Thanks

ParticipantIt sounds like the smart watering schedule just reprocessed and saw that it rained recently and the water levels were sufficient. So it rescheduled the watering for the next day. Looking at your timer I can see no visible issues.
