Would you please check my timer and let me know if it is set up correctly for Smart Watering. I had it installed Friday. I have 3 zones scheduled for smart watering to begin at 3:00 a.m. Could you tell me how many minutes the system will run? I can’t see any of that and not sure it is set up properly.

My device address is : MAC:44:67:55:00:1E:81

How to determine how much moisture is in your soil?

If the only schedule you have running is Smart Watering will it show up on your calendar and how many days a week does smart watering water the lawn, every day or can I schedule smart watering for every three days?

Another question – when I hit the home button on my app it indicates You have no programs scheduled – does that mean no smart water scheduled or individual custom programs only?

    Thank you, Jill

I’ve checked your settings and they were entered correctly, but you had watering restrictions. So it was unable to schedule any watering’s. I’ve since disabled them. The next watering that you have is for your zone one tomorrow for 10min at 3Am and 3:20Am. You may not see the others pop up until it processes them again.

Once you’ve put in your smart details for each zone the app will adjust it automatically.

Yes it will show what days are scheduled to water on your calendar. They will be the ones with the lightbulb icon. It will water when it sees that your lawn needs to be watered based off of the information that it’s been given. You can how ever under watering restrictions select which days of the week it is allowed to water, or if you want it to water on even or odd days of the month. This will however affect all of your zones. Under each zones smart details there is a watering schedule adjustments section. There you can for each individual zone increase or decrease the runtime, and time interval between each watering cycle.

It was showing no programs because you had restrictions on, and so there were no scheduled watering’s to report.

    Thank you Ryan,

I have a couple other questions. My app showed (as you indicated) Zone 1 will run for 10 minutes (2X). Zones 2 and 3 show no scheduled times, will the smart watering automatically do Zones 2 and 3 and that is why Zones 2 and 3 show scheduled run times as “Not Scheduled”?

I would like to water every three days but the calendar is showing twice a week (every 4 days). In the interval adjustment section I have estimated intervals at 3 days in Zone 1 but for Zones 2 and 3 it only can adjust for 4 days for May June July.

I just pulled up the app on my iPhone and iPad and now the calendar shows watering on Saturday and Sunday.

You have been very helpful and I appreciate your assistance and help in helping me to understand the timer.

    Thank you, Jill

Hi Jill, in smart watering you cannot do intervals for watering days you can only select the days of the week it can water, or choose whether it waters on odd or even days of the month. station 2 and 3 may not scheduled to water right now, but eventually they will automatically be scheduled in when the system senses it needs water.

Hello. I have a new 6 zone system. Initially, SMART watering forecasted one cycle to occur in early June. But now nothing is scheduled for SMART watering. “you have no programs scheduled” is displayed, and nothing shows up on the calendar.

Is the correct behavior? We did get rain yesterday, but i have no way to estimate the percentage of moisture in each zone.

My MAC is 44:67:55:02:FF:B9 . Please help. I have several neighbors watching with interest.

Update – shortly after I posted I checked the online dashboard and it said that Smart Watering will begin tomorrow. But my iPhone app didn’t reflect this change. So I killed the app and relaunched it — and then it also said that Smart Watering will begin tomorrow.

Before things changed, I did manually reduce zone 1 from 100% soil moisture to 41%. And now it is the only zone that shows that Smart watering is scheduled. So soil moisture setting seems to affect things (as it should), but if it is at 100% does it make sense that no Smart watering would be scheduled in my sandy loam for any future date?

@Wetmore55 it will update after a short time. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to reflect that change. Also, I’ve looked at your timer and you have a lot of rain in the forecast, so it won’t create a program again until you don’t have much rain.
