ParticipantI have a couple of problems with this:
First, When I first programmed it created a schedule, then the schedule disappeared and it has no watering schedule at all. Looking at the calendar I can see the timer thinks there is some rain in the forecast, I’m not sure where is it getting it from because I can’t find any forecast that shows rain in my area. I also increased the threshold for a rain delay to 80% chance of rain and it still created no watering schedule.
Second, I have an area that waters with drip irrigation, when I adjusted the headcount to the number of heads installed the timer was set to water for 1 minute, which makes no sense to me. I lowered the declared number of heads to see what the smart watering program would do but it then stopped creating a schedule. How many GPH is the timer basing that on? How can I adjust it to the real drip rate installed to make sure it is watering enough?
Mac address is: 44:67:55:03:3e:04
Thank you

ParticipantMichael, for your drip line you can just put in one head. I’ve updated your firmware which should fix any issues. if you would like the rune time to be longer You and adjust the runtime under that zones smart details in watering schedule adjustments. Also for the weather adjustments you may want to check your weather station and edit the rain delay depth threshold as well.

ParticipantRyan, thank you for your help. I did make sure the weather station selected is close and sensible, and as I mentioned the rain delay threshold is up to 80% chance of precipitation, and the forecast doesn’t have that much of a chance. So why am I still not seeing any scheduled watering on any of my zones? How long would it take the system to build a schedule?

ParticipantSo it looks like smart watering is turned on for your device but it isn’t turned on for the zones that you want to use smart watering. for the schedule to appear please select the zones you wish to use smart watering, and it will take a few hours. By tomorrow for sure you’ll have a schedule set.

ParticipantRyan, it was turned on for all the zones and then somehow turned off. I turned it on again and I’ll follow up if it doesn’t work.
Since you updated the firmware it put a suggested start time of 430am and I can’t erase it. Any thoughts on how to erase that?
Thanks again

ParticipantSo it’s looking like once it’s set you can’t delete it. I’ll have to ask about that. However if you change the time and save it, it will stay. So for now just change it to a different time.

ParticipantI just set up my Orbit B-hyve 12 station. I think I have set up smart watering correctly. Should I see the smart water schedule in the calendar. If I look at a zone under watering Schedule adjustments, it looks like it should run every three days for 19 minutes. If I look at the calendar, the only thing I see is the one zone that is set up manually. Should I be seeing the smart watering schedule in the calendar?

ParticipantYou will see little light bulbs for the days that smart watering is scheduled for. However if you just set it up it will take some timer to process. You should have it by tomorrow. If not just provide me with your timers mac address, and i’ll take a look at it.

ParticipantI still don’t see what I expect to see on the calendar. It should be currently set up to water zone 5 on program A which is working ok and zones 1,2,4,6,7, and 8 using smart watering. Those last zones are what I would expect to also see in the schedule. My MAC address is 44:67:55:02:F2:F8. I will be around this morning (MDT) but then will not have access to my computer today to respond it you take a look at it.
Thanks

ParticipantHello Allan, you had smart watering restrictions set so it wasn’t watering on any day. So that is why you were not seeing your schedule. I’ve disabled the restrictions, and I’m updating your firmware as well. Please let us know if you have any further issues.

ParticipantI see that you updated the firmware. When I look at the calendar, I still just see the six minutes for station 5 that is set on program A. I assume that at some point I should see the smart watering schedule when I look at the calendar.

ParticipantIf I understand the calendar that I am seeing on my computer. It looks like the grass areas are going to watered for 6 minutes each friday. Am I understanding that correctly… This doesn’t seem believeable with the temperatures in the 90’s. six minutes a week doesn’t seem right. Am I missing something?

ParticipantYes some of your areas will water for 6 minuets there times every Friday using this current schedule. It has also scheduled watering’s thought this wee and next wee. To get it to water for how long and how often as you’d like you will need to edit the watering schedule adjustments for each zone.
