ParticipantOverall, I’ve been very happy with my 6 station timer. I have 5 zones setup. Three are Smart Watering = On (2,3,4), and the others are off (1,5). the two that are OFF are by the driveway so I manually run those via voice command or the app when cars are out of the way.
I came out of the house one early morning a few days back on the way to work and noticed that every single zone had run.. 1-5. I caught it at the end with zone 5 running.
It started at 429 AM on 4/12. I’m not up until 5, so I had zero interaction with the app or could not have accidentally said “water all zones” as I was fast asleep.
What could have happened to water all zones??
thanks

ParticipantHere’s another one. It just watered one zone for 10 minutes, waited 5 then watered the same zone again,
Would appreciate some input from B-Hyve crew.

Keymaster@KCGR I’m not sure what would have caused your stations 1 and 5 to run. In looking at your history on my dashboard, I show the last time stations 1 and 5 ran were when they ran in the A program with the other 3 stations on April 12th. However, I do see that station 4 was shut off mid cycle twice in the last two days after running only 1 minute and only 2 minutes. Its possible the wires have been crossed inside your timer and that is why this station is running.
Smart Watering typically waters multiple times throughout the day for shorter duration’s, so that’s why your valve would run again.

ParticipantThe wires are not crossed. That I’m sure of. The station 4 issue comes up because I think the unit is looking at what it thinks the soil moisture is and then comes on when it sees it as low. I set the soil moisture to 100% and the next day or two it comes on at 5:15. I recheck the soil moisture and it is zero.
I don’t have a moisture sensor. So after several days of running in a row, I shut if off when I catch it.
The smart watering always seemed fine until these last weeks, when station 4 seems to have decided that it needs to run everyday at 5:15 and then the rogue running of all the stations as noted above.

ParticipantIt did it again. Zone 5 watered when it wasn’t supposed to. I manually watered zone 5 last night via google voice control. I left the house at 7, can back at 9:30 to find the system running. It does not log the history of these stealth runs.
Will contact support per your suggestion.

Participantnevermind the previous post …. Wife decided to run it. I’ll keep an eye on it.
What is odd, is that the history was not updated to show that zone 5 ran.
