ParticipantUsing the B-Hyve app, I can set a timer to run for 30 seconds but it does not run?
When you use the online system the minimum timer is in minutes and I can not find out how to set the run time for say 2 minutes 30 seconds on line either?I have a Hub with two timers in two different green houses.
With them being indoors I have disabled the Smart watering as the rain delay kept kicking in an disabling water timers.
Green house one is working as I need it too, but our rooting shed, I need to do the followingWe are using over head misting heads in the green house, but until we can control the temperature better I need to regulate the watering more.
I need to use the watering timers to water from 4 to 8 times a day for periods from 30 seconds to 5 minutes
So for example the timers would be as follows
Timer one 30 seconds
Timer two 2 minutes 30 seconds
Timer three and four 4 minutes
Timers Five and Six 5 minutes
Timer Seven 2 minutes 30 seconds
Timer Eight 30 secondsThe reason for this is humidity during the day gets so hi we need to spray them a little more just to keep them at the slightly damp level
Any suggestions as at the time I can not find a way for the times to be set for 30 seconds and work???Spread the love!April 4, 2019 at 1:25 pm #77061Stephen
Keymaster@pomegranatesga Unfortunately the timer will not allow a program of minutes and seconds. It has to be one or the other. As far as the web page goes, it is out of date, but I will speak with our devs and let them know that seconds needs to be added as an option.

ParticipantIt may also be worth mentioning ..Please tell Dev Team ..The app has a fault….When you use Manual Watering..When the water starts and the time circle appears..there is text inside the circle, but you can not see what it says as the text is too BIG… Also do you sell an adapter that fits where the batterys go, I have mains access in our shed, and I want to say i am replacing batteries like every month. I only put new batteries in like two 9 days ago and already they are down to 70%, and this is due to the amount of times we are watering a day. Or can i buy a three volt DC power supply and hard wire it myself and solder the wires inside the battery holder where the batteries should go and not void its warranty???. And yes I would drill a hole through the logo put the wires through then silicon them both sides so no water can get in

KeymasterCan you send a screenshot of that error to us so that I can see it? Send it to [email protected].
Any modifications you do to the timer will void the warranty.

ParticipantMr Stephen Sir
Have you had the chance to look at the screen shot I sent you about the App?
Do you have any idea on time scales for being able to use seconds?
Thanks

Keymaster@pomegrnatesga I haven’t seen your email come through yet. Can you give me a first or last name, or update your B-hyve Forum profile so that I can use a search to look for your email? Did you send it on Monday?

ParticipantStephen it has been nearly a month now, i have had one email to which has been replied to twice and still nothing
starting to get rain timers delays now, i changed our timers on one timer only to find out two days later the other tine had ceased watering with a rain delay of nearly TWO YEARS.
I wish i had taken a screen shot instead of getting a head of my self as not watering for nearly two days could of hurt out plantsFor some reason i am having to now check every day both timers to make sure that the timers have not got cancelled or a rain delay happening even though i have disabled the facility
John
