So I have the same issues as what others are reporting. I have 1 b-hyve for 2 years that never had problems until around this June. My schedules stopped working. After troubleshooting it seemed the issue was the wifi hub. I could get the hose timer to manually start watering via bluetooth, but then it would never shut off. I thought it was broken so I purchased a new 2nd unit. It worked fine for 2 months, but it too is doing the same thing: no schedules will start & manual watering doesn’t work. I’ve spent the last 2 weeks fiddling with both units, and I can get them to work if I delete them from the app and leave disconnected for period of time. The schedules will work, but only a few times and they’ll stop working again. I’m so tired of messing with these devices and it’s very frustrating. From my troubleshooting, I tend to think it is likely 1 of 2 issues or both: either the wifi timer has bad firmware and/or there are issues with the mobile app and cloud server. So what is Orbit support doing to address these issues as I’m not buying anymore of their products if they can’t get this fixed?

I’m totally done with this product after 3 years. I see no response from support in over a month. After my last post, I eventually got 1 unit added back to the app after leaving them removed for a few days. However the schedules have not worked once since then, and I’ve had to do manually watering each time. Since about first of September, the manually watering has also stopped functioning. I have to do crazy things to just get manually watering to initiate: pull the batteries, disconnect wifi to bluetooth and back to wifi, or logout/login the app. It is totally erratic. I just initiated a manual watering for today and stopped it once I saw my planters were full. After about 30 minutes, I thought I was still hearing water running thru the house, so I went outside to check and sure enough it was still watering and hadn’t shut the valve off. I had to pull the batteries again to get it reset itself and close the valve. I don’t have time for this anymore and so sick of it. Good thing it’s almost the end of the season, but I will be switching to a different brand come spring 2021.
