ParticipantHi,
I am unable to get a manual rain delay to register. I hit the rain delay button and it will show clear delay for a while and then go back to showing a rain delay button with no indication of it registering. I suspect the firmware is not current and when I hit update firmware, I get Couldn’t Connect Device, timing out. The last connected says a time and date within the last 10 minutes.
MAC: 44:67:55:10:59:65
Firmware version 0032
Hardware version HT25-0000Can you update the firmware if it seems like it will help?
Thanks…

KeymasterHello @sforgues
The issue you are likely having is with the firmware of the hub, not the timer. I have pushed the newest firmware of the hub to your timer, and you shouldn’t have any more issues. Please let us know if you continue to have this issue.

ParticipantIs there any way that this stuff can be done by the hub / devices automatically? That would sure solve a LOT of issues, if these things would just keep themselves updated. Can you check mine? I’m pretty sure I’ve got a problem going as well:
MAC Address: 44:67:55:20:2C:FD
Firmware Version DEBUG-0017 (oy, I have a debug version going???)
Hardware Version: BH1-0001And specifically, my question is rain-delay related but not exactly like Sforgues’s. My story (now) is: The batteries on my devices almost all died (4/6 devices). They don’t report when they’re low, and the hub doesn’t report when it loses connection with them. Anyway, that’s a different issue. After I changed the batteries, we’ve been having a lot of rain lately here, I’ve noticed that they’re saying “rain delay automatically set!” and “finished watering!” (And, I guess I’ve got a third problem, because 3/6 just aren’t responding at all, still.)

ParticipantHi,
I recently purchased the bhyve wifi hub & 4 ea. additional timers. Therefore, I have a total of 5 ea. timers.I programmed all of the timers and have been having several issues including the ones people have been having in this topic. Even though I currently have all of the programs disabled & smart watering turned off. They include:
Notifications suggesting rain delays be set.
Notifications saying watering is complete for some valves.
Could you please check my hub firmware version & update if needed?
My Hub info is:
MAC Address: 44:67:55:20:79:37
Firmware version: 0018
My Timers MAC addresses are:
Hose Timer # 001 – 44:67:55:11:3C:A6
Hose Timer # 002 – 44:67:55:10:2D:F1
Hose Timer # 003 – 44:67:55:10:35:75
Hose Timer # 004 – 44:67:55:10:07:04
Hose Timer # 005 – 44:67:55:10:2D:AB
I updated all of the timers firmware when I installed them.

ParticipantYou may want to start a new thread in case they don’t respond to responses.
Just a note…I solved my problem by basically resetting and starting over. I don’t know that helps you but it might be worth a try.

ParticipantHi sforgues,
Thanks for the tips.
I would really like to get the hub firmware update to see if that works.
I have posted my request in this forum, on the App forum, & through their Bhyve support email with no response. If I don’t get a response soon I’ll try it through a new thread as you suggested.

Keymaster@Russ I show that we have communicated via email and your firmware update has been issued. Are you still having issues with this?

ParticipantI am having a problem with rain delay triggering even though there is no rain here.
It triggered rain delay last night, no rain, and I tried to manually run my sprinklers and it wont let me.
It said a rain sensor was haulting manual sprinkling, even though I don’t have a rain sensor.MAC Address: 44:67:55:02:d3:d9
Firmware Version: 0039
Hardware Version: WT25G2-0001Spread the love!June 10, 2019 at 5:30 pm #77626Stephen
Keymaster@illumifi If a rain sensor is triggering the delay, then it will be different from the automatic delay. Simply put your timer in the auto position and hold down the rain delay button on the front of the timer for about 5 seconds, or until you see the SENS OFF message come up on the timer display. That should resolve this issue for you.
