ParticipantIn NC we have had so much rain that I haven’t had to water since the middle of May. Today I went to water in some fertilizer and got this “PUMP FAULT” WARNING and can’t do anything. Checked to see that I had water to the distribution box and I did. I see that some others here have the same issue and are asking for an software upgrade. I believe that I need that also. Here is my info:
Name: Sprinkler Man
MAC address: 44:67:55:02:98:8a
Stations: 6 (5 set up)
Please let me know when you do the update.
Thank You

Participant@bhuckster, I’ve updated your firmware, but that wouldn’t be causing a pump fault. Did you just hook up this system? If so what brand of pump do you have? Or was it an existing one, and is now displaying a pump fault?

ParticipantI’ve updated your firmware, if you have a master valve it could be an issue with that. If you have a wire inserted to the pump terminal on your timer then it is an issue with something farther down the line in your system.

ParticipantRYAN – You say that the it couldn’t be the firmware BUT it was. I don’t even know what a master valve is!!! You updated the firmware and it works fine now. I did a manual on 4 zones today and they worked like they should. I have 5 zones connected. My concern is that since I installed your controller in May I’ve had 2 issues now that were corrected by a firmware updates. I guess that you don’t notify users of firmware updates. Is that true? My concern would be that I’m putting my trust that your product will automatically take care of my watering and it needs to be reliable.

ParticipantThe firmware updates are automatic, as long as you are connected to the internet and we have an update to push.

ParticipantYour timer was on debug I believe which is what all of our units are shipped out with. It sounds like you installed it after the update was pushed out.

ParticipantI have having the same issue. Displaying pump fault but I don’t have a pump. As a result, my system will not run. The timer has been working for for a couple of months without any issue.

ParticipantHello JJman1386, I’ve updated your firmware. If you don’t have a pump, and you still keep receiving the fault error you’ll want to check your wiring and/or solenoids.
