hello jasonsan, before I can update the firmware for your hub it needs to be connected to the internet. If you need any help getting it connected just let us know.

Thanks….however, you missed your window … LOL. I’m not at the place where the watering is, and won’t be for another couple weeks (which is why I bought a b-hyve), so had someone unplug and plug it back in just after I wrote the message above.

After they did so, the b-hyve then was up, working, and online for another 12 hours before dropping its wifi connection again (thankfully I was able to start a manual watering during that period).

I’ll let you know when it’s back up, but you have to move quickly before it drops its connection again, since it doesn’t seem to stay up too long.

Do you have a direct email where I can let you know?

Hello, I am having the same issue. I just reconnected my hub (unplugged and plugged back in). Sometimes my system will work for awhile if I pull the battery holder out and put it back in but the system will not stay connected to wifi and I get error message “your device is set to off” and emails stating my device is disconnected. Resetting to auto doesn’t work b/c it resets itself to OFF. I reset the WIFI connection on the hub, but the timer outside still will not set itself and stay on AUTO. When I try to update firmware it says it is already up to date.

This is getting really complicated and annoying and I’m considering getting a simple mechanical/non-digital timer.

    Hose timer MAC: 44:67:55:10:69:C2
    Firmware version: 0032
    Hardware version: HT25-0000

    Hub MAC: 44:67:55:20:17:10
    Hardware version: BH1-0001
    Firmware version: DEBUG-0017

@jasonsan, yes you can send it over to [email protected]
however the forum may be faster, as long as it’s posted on a weekday, before about 5:30PM MT time.

    @ZooHouse
, I’ve gone ahead and updated the firmware for your hub. It will be switching over to firmware version 22. Once you’ve gotten your faucet timer reconnected, it shouldn’t have any more problems. Please let us know if we can help in any other way.

this did not fix the problem. I fiddled with it today and reset the internet connections to the device and the hub. I do not see that the firmware was upgraded as it still has the same info I sent to you prior to the weekend. the app still says my device is “off” and when I toggle back to “auto” it changes it right back to off when it get to the home screen.

My last option I can think of is to deauthorize the devices and reinstall them. The next step after that is to get another timer.

Hello ZooHouse, Your hub’s firmware was updated, and your hose faucet timer was already set to the current firmware version. I’ve checked your system again, and everything seems to be working properly. If you have any other issues please let us know.

Thanks, I replaced the batteries and the system seems to be doing OK now. The app said there was 11% battery but it kept fluctuating. I tried to turn it on outside and it wouldn’t do anything, so I replaced the batteries.

Thanks for your help, it watered today!

no fix/ still dropping / just emailed customer support. Really hope i can get the fix, cause i’d rather not have to return this device, when it works, it’s awesome! (but right not..not so much)

Hello SMK, your firmware is now set to the current version. You may want to edit your DNS settings on your router to 8.8.8.8 with 8.8.4.4 as a back-up. You will also want to make sure that it is in range of your router with not too much interference. There is not much else I can do from here outside of firmware updates. So should your issue continue please contact our product support line, and they can assist you further with troubleshooting. Thank you!
