    Hi,

    I am unable to turn on any zones through app on wifi for manual watering. App says “timer is taking to long to respond”.

    MAC: 44:67:55:02:B2:8D

    Please help.

    Same problem I am connected but when testing zones nothing happens the app thinks it it running.

    I am experiencing the same issue(s) when attempting manual watering from the app on my iPhone and receive the following error:

    “Device is taking too long to respond.”

    I just paired the controller last night. The controller is located within a foot of the wifi access point in my garage.

    When I run a manual watering from the controller, the app on my iPhone correctly notifies me when the manual cycle is complete.

    Orbit please fix these issues.

    I am experiencing the same issue(s) when attempting manual watering from the app on my iPhone 8 and receive the following error:
    Device is taking too long to respond

    if i manually start watering the status will show up on the phone

    Please advise on resolution

    Trouble shooting already completed
    Reset and reconnected Wifi etc..

    I had been booted from both online and app login … attempting to login threw “not valid” error, even trying to reset threw “email not found” (both login & password were 100% as I’m using password manager).
    Just not when attempting again, it worked.
    I suspect their servers had issues.

    Support, I am still unable to turn on any zones through app on wifi for manual watering. App gives the following error “timer is taking to long to respond”. What do I need to do to get it working? Tried pairing and repairing and also connecting and disconnecting via Bluetooth.

    I noticed I had control when in my manually scheduled. However, when I turn on the full smart watering and disable my manual schedules, then I am unable to do a quick TEST of the zone anymore. In my testing I got control back when I switched back to manual watering schedule.

    When I have the issue I get the same messages you guys are reporting. I got it last night, so it doesn’t appea r to be fixed for me.

    I am experiencing the same issue when attempting manual watering from the app on my Samsung Note 8 and receive the following error:

    “Device is taking too long to respond.” Note: I also get this same message from my online control via Windows 10 using Google.

    I just paired the controller last night. The controller is located within a foot of the wifi access point in my living room.

    I can run a manual watering from the controller, but not from my Android phone or Online.

    I think I will take my 6 station unit back and keep taking them back until I find one that works.

    If you are still experiencing issues with the timer and its saying “timer taking too long to respond”, please email us at [email protected] with your MAC ID and we’d be happy to assist you. There isn’t one single step to resolving this for every person, so I would like to troubleshoot with each of you individually.
