Orbit?! Anything? A yes or no or still working on it would be nice. There are a lot of people asking the same question.

Any update to this yet? Just over 11 months, and no update.
My friend got a new system (different brand) where he can control battery powered solenoids from his phone. They talk to each other. This will be a substitute product for B-Hyve if this feature isn’t added.

Sadly, it appears Orbit has simply given up on this one or no longer cares enough to support/respond to their user community forum.

Despite owning 8 timers; I will probably migrate to a different system given the lack of response to this issue. Disappointing.

Agree – it might be time to move to another as the software has not improved. Any recommendations?

This whole thing makes me so sad! I am “new” to this, just owning 2 and only in the last couple of months.

But HEY ORBIT!!!! Don’t you even care anymore???

Well I guess we all start looking at options and report back in this forum. If orbit takes these down… then we know they are active. Just not Passionate. Big bummer. When I purchase a home with a sprinkler system. I know I won’t choose orbit based off just this support forum. If you at least gave status updates I would be okay “hanging in there” as I work in IT. What every your programmers give as a status update each week, make it dumber down and post it here. It would show your trying. But no response after multiple “no eta, but we’re working on it” after multiple years. Not a fan. Who wants to buy my 7 timers and “hub”?

@Wheels, Hunter are offering battery powered solenoids now. Check out the Hunter Node Controller. My friend just got it installed, he can bluetooth control his battery powered solenoids. There were no battery powered solenoids when I invested in these faucets, and I couldn’t get wires or new irrigation piping to some garden beds. Could only (for practicable purposes) use existing garden water outlets. Not sure about a full comparison, but I’m 100% confident it wouldn’t put multiple zones on at the same time as the solenoids are linked into the one controller. I have so much dead time from rest periods during my watering (sloped gardens).
