I am using 2 hose timers on the same device group. However, only one zone shows up at a time. I have to switch devices in the settings to control the other zone. Is there a way to manage the timers in a device group at once? Ideally, they show up as individual zones in that device group.

Hey there SPORTMAN 1280, right now you have to control them as individual units since they each have their own signal going to the hub. Hey there, Will you be able to notify me with this is fixed. This is a HUGE disappointment. This would be a huge improvement. I picked up 4 hose timers to cover two large lawns. I’d really like to be able to manage them in one interface with two or four individual zones. You only need one hub to connect multiple faucet timers. However the problem is one of wording – the hub isn’t a hub, it’s just a wireless bridge that allows your timers to be managed via wifi. Each timer is actually its own ‘hub’ within the app, so they dont know about each other at all. So you can switch between the different faucets as if you were switching between different hubs, their programming and setup is all completely independent.Spread the love!May 10, 2018 at 3:30 am #1614AndyParticipant
RENTIAK, what? So, how can I access the two different faucet timers? I didn’t see anything in the app that would allow me to create another zone for the other hub. That’s what I’d expect Zones to do.
How do I pick different hubs?

Hi andy, so each bhyve hose faucet timer acts as one zone, and you can connect multiple timers (thus multiple zones) to your hub. To switch between your timers/zones you can click on the bhyve logo located at the top of the homepage. Yea this should have been a day one implementation. The fact that none of the timers know about each other you can’t just setup smart watering and let it got. I’m sure 99% of your multiple timer customer base does not have enough water pressure to run more than one zone at a time… My sprinkler heads won’t even pop-up if the shower is on. I am pretty aggravated that I have to setup up manual schedules for both so they don’t both try to run at the same time. This is a pain in the butt. +1 for what everyone here is saying. There needs to be a way to pull all individual hose timers into one area of the app.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, it’s not falling on deaf ears.
Just wanted to chime in and and give a brief explanation and a look forward to this feature.
This has been on the feature list from day one, it is just about to the top of the priority list with some careful considerations.
We not only desire to offer this feature to hose tap timers but to just about any combination of timers and when it comes to re-architecting our system to enable this, it’s no small task.
We have talked about how this would happen, hardware vs cloud or a combination and what benefits and limitations each one has and then what to do when a new timer needs to be added or removed, what then? And on an on.. As you can imagine the implications of some of these seemingly simple decisions can have huge impacts on the user experience. For example: If we only allow a group of zones to be created once and any change requires the whole group to be disbanded it is much easier from an App, Hardware & Cloud perspective, but it’s not much fun for you the user to have to recreate the group every time you add one or remove devices or whatever. So, we need to find a good balance of usability and maintainability. This has been a healthy debate between marketing and development, I promise. 😉 Most importantly, whatever it is, we want it to work, not release a half baked idea to shut people up.
So, it’s going to take a little time. There are other factors I can’t yet mention but will say they are very cool that they will have a bearing on this and many other features coming in the App.
So, we appreciate your frustration and don’t fault you for it, we just ask that you to hang in there with us knowing that good things are coming and we want to give you all the best experience we can.
