I have set as many parameters as I can except for using catch cups. My lawn is turning brown. It needs more water. I’d like for smart watering to determine the intervals and durations. But it is not getting enough.

Even with grass turned brown and soil very dry to touch, the soil moisture reads 100%. If I manually change that to a lower percentage will the smart watering adjust to give it more water?

I did have my grass type incorrectly set to warm grass…cuz….well…it was warm outside. After reading the help screens I realized I have cool grass which will require more water so hopefully that helps too.

But while I try to get the grass to green up does it help to change the soil moisture to a lower percentage or am I waiting time doing that?

Hello Nateccnn, If you turn your soil moisture down it will water more often. I’d suggest putting it around 10% or 15% if it’s dry. Then it will automatically adjust from there. You many want to also look into making some changes in your zones smart details settings. If you go to the watering schedule adjustments page you can edit the runtime, and how often your zone waters. The changes are made with a slide bar, and then displayed up at the top under estimated duration, and in the calendar. Please let me know if you have any questions.
