I have a WS-1401 IP from which data is being uploaded via a Weatherbridge to the CWOP weather network. I received my CWOP ID FWnnnn July 2nd, but I don’t see it on the bHyve map of Personal Weather Stations yet, and this is July 11, over a week. Some one mentioned that it took a week for them to get on the bHyve.Spread the love!July 12, 2018 at 12:58 am #4564eckirchnBlocked
CAWOLFEE39, I can’t really help you, but I did a search for your station and didn’t find it. That doesn’t mean I did the search right, but might be something to look into.Spread the love!August 10, 2019 at 10:35 pm #77960
I finally got the customize screen in WS View to upload data to Pwsweather.com and then onto Aeris.
My PWS is a Fine Offset WH2950, Branded “Pantech”, but there are plenty of Fine Offset PWS under other brands such as Pantech, Ambient, MMI etc. As long as it can be setup with the Fine Offset/Ecowitt.net app “WS View”. This app sets you up to upload to Ecowitt, Weather Underground, Weather Cloud,and the BOM/British Met site WOW.
However it also has a customized upload screen with two protocols – Ecowitt and Wunderground. I found that by setting this up using the Wunderground protocol you can upload to Pwsweather.com.
Another thing I learnt was that while many of the websites requires your password to include a special character it won’t work on Pwsweather.com. Any data uploads to pwsweather.com cannot be done with a password including special character even though you can set up your pwsweather website login with one. Since it’s the same password for uploads and the website you must make sure your password does NOT include any special characters.
Anyway hope this helpsSpread the love!December 27, 2019 at 6:06 am #78323ba77hyParticipant
I am trying to get my ecowitt to upload to pwsweather using the custom settings in WS view app
Do you know the Server IP/Hostname and the pathSpread the love!December 27, 2019 at 11:13 pm #78324
It would be helpful if I could post a screenshot here. So the caveman way is:
(Customized settings from top down)
ServerIP/Hostname = http://www.pwswether.com
Path = /weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?
StationID = YourstationID
Station Key = Yourpassword (remember what I said in previous post)
Port = 80
Upload Interval = I use 180
Hope this helpsSpread the love!December 27, 2019 at 11:31 pm #78325ba77hyParticipantDecember 28, 2019 at 4:36 pm #78326
As I said I had to type it the caveman way and so it was a typo. Should be

There is a very easy way now for owners of an Ambient 2000 series to have their station and data appear 0n PWSweather.com. Follow the directions to report your data to ambientweather.NET. page 48 of the manual here This is a different site from ambienweather.COM. Navigate to ambient weather.net, not ambient weather.com and then click on “Devices”. On that page you’ll see a share option with an icon for PWS weather.com and simply check the box. Done and done. At first, I could not find my PWS on the map on the B-Hyve app, but it eventually showed after I changed the zip code of the device location and then returned back to my original zip code. I don’t know if the zipcode trick was needed or if my PWS would have appeared if I had simply waited.Spread the love!
