ParticipantI’ve had this installed for a few days. At first, it seemed to turn on and off as programmed.
Now it will turn on, but willl not turn off.
Even though it is not turning off, I receive the app notification of the watering cycle concluding and finishing.
I have reset it a couple times, and the problem persists.
It will turn on at programmed side, but will not turn off. It seems the valve is remaining open and stuck.
When I manually turn the water off, the valve in the timer will close.
Why is this and can it be fixed?
As of now I have had to stop using the timer as I travel and cannot have it stuck in the eternal on position.
Thank you

Participantcould I have your timers mac address? Also what type of sprinklers do you have this hooked up to?

ParticipantYes, certainly.
I have attached images for the hose control unit and also the WiFi hub.
Although well-within WiFi coverage inside the house and having the WiFi hub plugged in directly on otherside of wall from the hose control unit… I notice the last connection time was many days ago…this may Be normal, although I would think they would communicate more frequently.
The sprinklers are just small (about 3”) round units which sit on the ground. I have the hose leading to a “Y” coupling which then has each side leading to one of these small round ground sprinklers. I am not at home at the moment, so I don’t have the exact name of them. I will try to look online and comment with what their name.
Thank you for the help.

ParticipantHi Ryan:
Thank you so much for the update.
I am just back from travel and ran a cycle.
It seemed to run perfectly. Cycled on and off as it was programmed.
I’ll post back if any other issues arise.
Thank you very much for all your help. You have been excellent.

Participant@Ryan
The issue has returned.
The timer will come on as programmed, but will not turn off.
This is a major issue.
I cannot have this happening. It runs okay for a couple days, and then fails.
I think I am at a point where I cannot trust the valve to close as programmed, and I must return the unit.
I do appreciate your help.
Unfortunately this item is not reliable and needs more testing / work before it should be sold for public consumption.
Thank you.
