My faucet timers are not running reliably. Things were going okay initially, then quickly went off a cliff. First the Smart Watering schedule decided that it didn’t need to water one of my hose tap zones for 14 days, so I setup manual programs for both hose tap zones. Then it wouldn’t run any programs at all even though it would show them as scheduled. The last thing I tried was to disable Smart Watering in the setting for the device. This caused it to water every day that it didn’t have a rain delay.

I de-authorized all the devices tonight and reconfigured everything, then stumbled upon this forum and thought that it might be a firmware issue.

    Hub- 44:67:55:20:14:E4 Firmware Version: DEBUG-0017
    Hose Tap 1- 44:67:55:10:E5:5B Firmware Version: 32
    Hose Tap 2- 44:67:55:10:2D:F0 Firmware Version: 32

I have updated your Hub to the latest version of firmware. This may (should) resolve some of the issues you mentioned because the Hub is responsible for forwarding message, setting time and other things for the Timers.

The two timers are on the latest version and if they did need to be updated the only way to do that is via the phone.

To check for updates on the HT timers, you would get within Bluetooth range of the timer, then go to Settings > Devices > Select the timer > Scroll down to Update Firmware, if it is up-to-date it will tell you or it will download the newest and update it. It’s important to make sure the batteries are new(ish) and that you stay within Bluetooth range for the entire update and do not disconnect.

    Thank you!

Thank you. They ran as scheduled this morning, so I’m hopeful that they will continue to function reliably now.

I have the same debug firmware on my hub and it does not update. The 2 faucet timers do seem to update. Could I get it fixed please?

    Hub- 44:67:55:20:2E:C5 Firmware Version: DEBUG-0017
    Hose Tap 1- 44:67:55:10:DF:6E Firmware Version: 32
    Hose Tap 2- 44:67:55:10:58:DB Firmware Version: 32

Also, is there anyway to get smart watering to water twice a day. My drip system has always watered 2x a day because our Florida heat just really makes the plants dry out quickly.

My faucet timers seem to be running more reliably, but now I’m having another odd issue. The app and techsupport.orbitbhyve.com and my.orbitbhyve.com have inconsistent scheduled run dates.

The app and the initial page of my.orbitbhyve.com say that my faucet timers will run on Tuesday (9/25), but techsupport.orbitbhyve.com shows them scheduled to run on Monday (9/24). I think that they are running based upon the schedule on techsupport.orbitbhyve.com.

Please let me know what can be done about this.

    Best Regards,

    Kiran

I would definitely trust the techsupport site, however, they should be getting their information from the same source. I know we’re in the process of replacing the my…. site so I can’t say we’ll look into it eve but stick with the other and you should be good.

    Thanks!
