@benrita Each timer that can act as a hub will create a device group unless you already have one on your account. This shouldn’t cause any issue inside the timer. Are you seeing errors when you run the timer?Spread the love!April 24, 2019 at 10:51 pm #77266

We’re looking into it, but I’ve been receiving notifications on my device and I’m on Android 9. what is the MAC ID of your timer and I’ll be able to look into the notification settings on your account.
I spoke with my developer and he said to check all of your notification settings in your phone, and then make sure you don’t have a battery saving option that prevents the app from sending notifications.Spread the love!April 25, 2019 at 9:58 pm #77281

The app updated yesterday but my smart watering won’t run until 8 days time.
I have set up a zone to water this afternoon at 3.30pm (26th April Australian Eastern Standard Time) and will report back with result.

Stephen, with the latest app update I now receive notifications on my phone, but only when I unlock the screen. It does not notify me while the screen is asleep.
These notifications however have come through whilst I am at home (over the wifi I assume), I will see if any come through when I am away from the house over the weekend.

There has to be a setting you’re missing in your phone that is preventing the app from giving notifications. Maybe try clearing the cache for the B-hyve app. You can also delete the app and re-install it, then reboot the phone and see if that helps.Spread the love!April 30, 2019 at 8:50 pm #77366
Stephen, I have tried all you have suggested, many times, and have even reset the phone to factory settings. The app definitely does not pop up a notification when the phone screen is asleep, wake the screen and notifications come through.
All my settings are correct both for the phone and app.
Can you confirm that your notifications come through when your phone screen is both asleep and awake ?

Stephen thank you, yesterdays watering notification came through on phone 10 minutes after watering had finished. I did clear the app cache yesterday, so maybe that made a difference, hopefully it does not have to be cleared after each notification.

Stephen, notifications have been coming thru to phone on last 3 occasions.
I notice there has been 2 updates to the app recently, maybe they have helped but so far so good.
Let’s hope it stays that way.
