ParticipantPurchased an Orbit 6-station timer last year, and I think I set up an account at that time. Was able to run my zones at that time.
Trying to use the B-Hyve App on my android phone this year, and I can’t Log-in OR even create a new account.
I had reset the WiFi on the Orbit wall unit last week, and at that time, was able to run all of my zones, but now I can’t log-in.
I managed to create a new account today with a new password, but only by using the B-Hyve website on my computer — I could not create an account from the Android App, even after entering all of the required information.1) WHY is it necessary to “log-in” at all?
2) When I enter my log-in information on the App and press the “Login” button, I see a quick message that says “Logging in…”, but nothing else happens. It just stays on that Login screen.
3) How do I access my Orbit controller (remotely) so I can use the App (as I expect that I should be able to)?Extra Note: Suggest changing the background color, or the lettering color, of your web pages as having yellow lettering on a white background is extremely hard to read.

KeymasterThank you for the feedback Rpaehr, if you could provide me with the MAC ID of your timer, I’d be able to look it up and see why you’re having issues. The reason a login is required is so that you and only you can control your timer. Otherwise, everybody would be able to control it and we’d have no way of sorting out which timer is which.

ParticipantThank you for responding. I presume that my timer’s MAC ID is the 12-hex-digit code found behind the secondary/control panel.
If I were to provide this MAC ID in this forum/topic, won’t EVERYONE be able to also know it? Is there a secure/separate e-mail address to where I can provide it?

Keymaster@rpaehr It will be posted on the forums, but that information only pertains to the timer, and they won’t be able to do much of anything with that information. If you’d prefer to continue this troubleshooting via email, you can email us at [email protected] and just reference this forum post there.

ParticipantI tried sending an e-mail, with the MAC Address included, to your [email protected] e-mail address, but I got the following error:
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:
5.5.4 Recipient domain orbitbhvye.com does not resolve permanently in DNS and does not exist.
Please check the message recipient “[email protected]” and try again.I am using a Mozilla browser called SeaMonkey, if that makes any difference, on a Windows-10-Home x64 computer.
Can you provide an alternate e-mail address where I can send my timer information?

Participanthello rpaehr, Did you send it to [email protected]? In your last post you wrote @orbithyve.com (the b is missing). Try sending it again to [email protected]
