I installed bhyve yesterday — not a fun experience. Got stuck twice after the Wifi setup. Anyway, I configured 4 zones, connected my rain sensor and scheduled a program for Mon, Wed and Fri. I left smart watering on in the device configuration, but it’s disabled at the zone level (not sure if it matters or not).

Since it was raining yesterday morning, I manually added a 24 hour rain delay in the home screen. The message on the screen correctly said that next watering would be on Wed (instead of today morning)

This morning, I wake up and I hear the sprinkler starting and stopping every few seconds. I open the app and I see the message on the home screen toggleing between the rain delay and between the fact that the program is running (today, Monday). Why did it start today when it should have started on Wednesday? I really hope it didn’t ruin my solenoids, starting and stopping every seconds for a few good minutes. I immediately disabled the program. The message returned to say that the rain delay is in place. Ugh.

Since they asked not to return the device but rather call, I tried that. I’m still on the phone for 1.5 hours.

Can anyone confirm this bug? is there a fix? Is there anything I should configure differently? I’m running the six zone device. Firmware version 0025. Hardware version wt25-0001. Mac: 44:67:55:01:58:E9.

Last hope before returning the device to store. Thanks.

if YOU’RE STILL HAVING ISSUES TRY UPDATING YOUR WI-FI SETTINGS. YOU COULD ALSO UNPLUIGG THE GREY RIBBON CABLE THE EXTENDS FROM YOUR DISPLAY PANNEL AND PLUGS INTO YOUR TIMER FOR AROUND 5 SECONDS.

The device seems to have upgraded to firmware version 0032. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Thank you.
