ParticipantHi Josh, noticed you are a keymaster. If you’ve read through this thread, I’m sure you’re aware of our concern regarding HomeKit integration with our Orbi timers.
Are there any updates at all regarding the development of HomeKit integration with our timers? Anything at all regarding development and progress that you are able to share? Is development ongoing or has it been pulled?

ParticipantJust to make sure it’s understood there are many people watching this forum and hoping for the day that our Bhyve systems get Homekit.

They know for sure, but don’t care. They gave up on HK, but simply don’t want to acknowledge it or say so. Meanwhile, the Eve water products are working great for me as an actual working solution.

ParticipantSame here. If/when my bhyve timers die I will be switching to another homekit supported brand. I do not recommend this brand anymore to others looking for similar features.

ParticipantOrbit,
Again, you have posted new marketing material, this time for 2020:
On page 10 you clearly state “Works with Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit and Google Home”
STOP LYING
Where is our Homekit support?

ParticipantIf you look at the listing for the specific device on Page 15, it is not listed as supporting HomeKit. We probably shouldn’t hold our breath.
Interestingly, lower in the document.. Page 23 says “Apple Homekit commands are coming soon”.

ParticipantAll of the product specific pages in the document are the same, they don’t list it. But they do list it on the main page (page 10) which is an outright lie. None of their products support it, contrary to their CES 2018 claim.
Also, the “coming soon” language is BS, it said that last year in the 2019 documentation, as well as over 2 years ago when this thread started.

ParticipantComing Soon! ….. as in the next millennia ? Decade? I don’t understand…spend the money and license it and move on!
I expect a refund and I’ll send back my timer to orbit gladly! I’ll go buy one that is actually compatible.
Blows my mind at the lack of customer support around this!

ParticipantI will agree with previous comments in that I am:
* Disappointed for the lack of HomeKit support in 2 years
* Frustrated this thread has moved to “Customer Suggestions” out of the blue
* Frustrated that Home Depot still has a banner above these timers with the “Works with HomeKit” logo
* Having to resort to using a Homebridge plugin to achieve what I expected from a manufacturer using native HomeKit.I expected this lack of support of HomeKit from my [outgoing] Nest (Google) and Ring (Amazon) products, but not this. I, like others here, have been very patient. But you’re brand is in the tank if you can’t at least respond with some update, EVEN if it’s that HomeKit support isn’t happening… If that’s the case, have stores remove those deceiving banners. While I am extremely frustrated, the Homebridge solution works for me. That said Orbit, it won’t for others…

ParticipantIt’s crazy HomeKit support was never pushed out. The faucet timers WiFi hub has the 8 digit HomeKit code on the back of them and the hubs have certified on Apple’s MiFi website for a long time now.
