Hello, downloaded the free version of the app on my phone and works just fine.

downloaded to my wife’s phone with same credientials but won’t let her control the timer box. go through the process to add the timer and it works on her phone but stops working on mine!

apparently only 1 person is allowed to control?

reading the faq and it steps through the process to allow a guest control the box with a code but only with the paid version of the app.

am i missing something? can we not control the timer box from both of our phones?

Hello kleptomaniac, you can use the code with the free version of the app. If you sign in to the app on your wife’s phone she will have access to the timer just as you do, and would not need to re-pair it.

What code? I read through the FAQ linked from the app, but did not see anything about linking a second person. I want to add my wife so she has access as well. I have the hose faucet timers.

hello porkozone, what you need to do is in your app select settings > devices > your device > Device sharing > Select the + to the right of manager (if you want her to be able to edit and use the functions) > then generate a code.
Then add a device to your wife’s account select I have a code, and enter the code you just created.. You could also just sign in with your account on her phone.

I’m having the same issue. I have downloaded and deleted the app more than several times from my wife’s phone trying to get it to work. The first time it’s open, the app works fine. Asks to sign into account and “boom” I’m in. Close the app, re-open, and now it wants to set-up the timer as if it’s brand new. Want’s to go through the whole “find the network” thing. Won’t give an option to sign into the account. I suppose I could do the code thing but that seems ridiculous. Thanks for any help!

@RichKB, what is the mac address for your timer? Also do you both have accounts? If they are separate accounts a code will need to be generated to give access to the timer.
