Thanks for your question AMGARCIA. If you are creating the program for your timer and inputting the start time, which zones, and what days to run, then the timer will not exceed whatever run time you set.
If you are using Smart Watering, then you can input watering restrictions so that it doesn’t water at a certain time, but you don’t control what time it turns on/off like when you create the program yourself. Smart Watering creates a program for your lawn to keep it healthy and green, but also save water. Typically it runs shorter durations with multiple waterings since that is the most efficient way to water your lawn. Smart Watering will change how long it runs throughout the year to fill up your moisture balance back up or close to 100%.
