I am experiencing the same issue when attempting manual watering from the app on my Samsung Note 8 and receive the following error:

“Device is taking too long to respond.” Note: I also get this same message from my online control via Windows 10 using Google.

I just paired the controller last night. The controller is located within a foot of the wifi access point in my living room.

I can run a manual watering from the controller, but not from my Android phone or Online.
