Jefferson i can say from my experience they will replace the unit. I just emailed them a copy of my receipt and gave them my address… 4- days later i had a Warranty replacement unit new in box on my door step. They sent me the ABCD version new in box with a return label for the old one. You have to set everything up again in the app as its a new device completely and there is no option to replace the old one in your app. That was the only frustrating part. Other than that they quickly took care of my same issue since lowes had it labeled as HomeKit Compatible.
